Publishing a Story

Hey- so, I've been thinking, and I have hardly any creative spirit at the moment (just got put on anti depressants so this'll be fun) but I was wanting to take one rp and put it on wattpad. If I do, and by some chance it became popular and somehow got published, how would the rp partner that I had at the time feel if I split the proceeds with them? I'd hate to take all the credit for the story XD but maybe I'll make something inspired from one of my rps

What do you have in mind? XD this has little to do with me netting even a penny, but more of the rp you have in mind?

Well, the rps that have really stuck in my mind have been the ones I did originally when I was 13, and that was some good shit tbh. 10 years later and I'm still wishing a lot more people knew about Marie and Derek and...that angel one that I forgot the name to so

XD I believe it's was Richard and....I want to say it started with a A but I might be thinking of her sister. But I believe the official title was Be my Fallen Angel.

Lol if you desire to play those roles again, I suppose that it can't hurt.

Who knows lol, I'm almost done at my shift at work so I think maybe I can bust out the old creativity hub-- would it be titled a lemon..or? XD I may just take an old completed rp on here instead to transfer there.

XD here would be simpler at the very least it would grant a dual insight in the characters if you would play off of their actions

True, but how would one turn an rp into a story? I mean isn’t it like a story already? It has plot (okay sometimes) characters and backgrounds..

It goes by perspective, I assume Mary is the main focus so through the actions that are taken, we can remove some of the details of Derek's mind and emotions beyond the surface, and what's happened around them and to them.

Okay I just don’t want to exhaust those characters, we’ve tried to re rp them and it hasn’t gone well XD I think because I was trying to find something like the original one we did a long time ago

XD I would say....the main issue is we can never quite go back to the same feeling, because we don't exactly have a place to go along with them, we worked the original tale extremely well that I think the others kinda froze up?

Okay you have a point. Perhaps similar characters with similar backgrounds but with different names- then it would feel semi fresh? That’s what I did with my og character Daemon when I rp’ed him with my gf at the time, and then trying to replicate that was difficult and I guess I do want to stray and make a new oc that’s worth publishing

I still enjoy the idea of a Greek setting or at least the idea that satan and hades are connected somehow. That idea in itself has been intriguing to me a lot and I like exploring the possibilities. And that Satan isn’t just a person in mythology but someone more real, per se. But I also wouldn’t mind exploring how he fell in love with an angel to an extent of creating my infamous character Marie
